A heartbreaking story has been shared after Mercedes fulfilled a child's wishes after he was diagnosed with cancer.

Morgan was tragically diagnosed with cancer at just two years old. He was due to go to the British Grand Prix next month, however, doctors sadly said he was not well enough to go. So, the Mercedes F1 team took an F1 show car with the W14 livery to his house.

Dan from the Engine Braking podcast shared the heartbreaking story to social media, applauding the Brackley-based squad for the move. He wrote:

"Huge shoutout to @MercedesAMGF1. Morgan was diagnosed with cancer at two years old, his parents were due to take him to Silverstone but the doctors have said time is limited. So Mercedes went to him today, outside his house."

Fans were quick to share the story as well as messages. One fan commented:

"This is wonderful and heartbreaking all at the same time , that’s why merc are the best team ever so proud to support them even more so when they do selfless things like this , it’s wonderful thinking of that sweet little boy and his family xx"

Another fan commented:

"That is a wonderful gesture. Hats off to Mercedes. Something that both Morgan & his family will never forget"

Someone else shared a lovely message to the family, writing:

"So sad. Shoutout to Morgan for that beautiful smile. Sending love and healing light to Morgan and his family."
