Fernando Alonso is eager to repeat his strong performance in Bahrain at the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix this weekend, but has added that he thinks the Jeddah tack will be bet suited to Ferrari.

Aston Martin had an incredible start to the season with Alonso finishing in third place on the podium and Lance Stroll in sixth place. The AMR23 cars have shown great pace and have been able to be competitive at the front of the field with Red Bull, Ferrari, and Mercedes.

Speaking to the media ahead of the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix weekend, the two-time champion explained:

"Very happy with Bahrain and looking forward to Jeddah. This circuit is very different. I like the circuit. There is a lot of adrenaline.

"It is an important test to see if the car is going to perform as well here. There will be much less degradation. On Friday It will be a test.

"Ferrari are going to be strong."
