Haas F1 driver Kevin Magnussen is expecting his second child with his wife Louise. The couple are already proud parents to a two-year-old daughter named Laura, and the newest addition to their family is expected in the summer of 2023. While Kevin has been struggling to keep up with his Haas teammate, Nico Hulkenberg, this news comes as a positive development in his personal life.

Magnussen's wife shared the news to social media with a video of her cradling her bump along with the caption:

"Summer baby/Little sister"

Jan Magnussen, Kevin's father, who is also a former Formula 1 driver, believes that having another child will only make Kevin a better driver. Speaking to Ekstra Bladet newspaper, Jan said:

"I think most of all, he found the joy of being a racing driver. And then he got some peace on the home front. Becoming a father has only made him better."

Kevin himself has admitted that becoming a father was a "sudden awakening." He expressed his gratitude towards his wife's flexibility and support during his busy schedule, saying:

"I’m very lucky to have a wife who is super flexible and ready to go all out to make things work when I’m away. It puts things into perspective, and you find out what is important in life."

Fans have been congratulating the couple, one fan wrote:

"Saw your cute bump in Bahrain! Congrats to you both! Your daughter was ADORABLE with the crowds"

Another responded to the post:

"Oh my!! Congratulations! Wishing you a healthy & happy pregnancy"
