McLaren has revealed a new partner for the 2023 season ahead of the Australian Grand Prix this weekend.

Taking to social media, the British team confirmed their new partnership with Workday. They wrote:

"We're excited to announce a multi-year partnership with @Workday, a leading provider of enterprise cloud applications for finance and human resources, as an Official Partner of the McLaren Formula 1 Team from 2023. Let's get started!"

Workday is an American software company for human resources, financial planning, and analysis. The company is already an official partner of F1, signing a multi-year contract in 2021, and will now be joining forces with McLaren as well.

McLaren has not released a formal press release over the partnership yet, however, it is expected that the Workday logo will appear on both Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri's MCL60 cars and race suits.

The team will be looking to turn things around for the Australian Grand Prix this weekend, especially with it being rookie Oscar Piastri's home race. McLaren has had a less than ideal start to the 2023 season with Piastri being forced to retire from the Bahrain GP and Lando Norris having to pit six times with a pneumatic leak.

Saudi Arabia was also troublesome for the team as both cars ended up being damaged early on in the race, leaving Piastri and Norris finishing in fifteenth and seventeenth, respectively.

The Australian Grand Prix race weekend will begin on Friday 31st March.
