The third and final free practice session ahead of the Miami Grand Prix has finished ahead of qualifying later today.

Max Verstappen put in the fastest time during the session followed by Charles Leclerc and Sergio Perez taking second and third places on the time sheets, respectively.

Lewis Hamilton was complaining of his front tyres "vibrating" to his Mercedes team in the first five minutes of the session, potentially from a prior lockup, but it wasn't confirmed. It doesn't seem to be giving him huge issues as the British driver maintains 6th on the timesheet.

Red Bull's Max Verstappen maintained solid performance throughout the session putting himself at the top of the time sheets quickly.

McLaren sent both Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri out after fifteen minutes showing confidence in their set-up. Whereas, we heard George Russell tell his team that he was struggling with overall pace with the Mercedes W14.

Alex Albon had another close call running off at Turn 17 as well as Fernando Alonso going off at the end of the back straight followed by Nico Hulkenberg at Turn 7.

Giving some optimism for fans, Esteban Ocon explained to the Alpine team that grip was picking up on the track.

Later on in the session, Russell was reporting some vibrations in the steering column to the team. Interesting that both drivers from the Brackley-based squad are suffering from vibrations.

Lando Norris locked up at Turn 1 going off the track but managed to avoid a crash and was able to continue with the session straight away. Yuki Tsunoda was complaining of understeering issues to his AlphaTauri team.

Logan Sargeant was struggling with the balance of his Williams as he sat in sixteenth position with under five minutes to go.
