Two-time F1 champion Max Verstappen will be donning a new helmet for the upcoming Miami Grand Prix.

It is the second time that F1 has visited Miami after the inaugural event in 2022 and the Dutch driver has brought out a new helmet design in celebration. Taking to social media, Verstappen posted:

"Similar clean design, new colors, new details Really like how the helmet turned out, can’t wait to race with this one at the Miami GP For the mini helmets"

The new actual design of the helmet is very similar to his previous, however it now features a navy and pale blue design with purple and white accenting. The pale blue is the same as the Miami Grand Prix branding as well as the Miami Dolphins which is where the GP takes place.

Fans were quick to deliver their verdict on the new design. One who was a big fan of the new helmet posted:

"Very good design Max!!! You are the best driver and go for that championship that you so deserve! M.V. 1"

Another fan who is rooting for the Dutchman to take the win at the Miami Grand Prix, commented:

"Looks great...the colors are amazing.. A great helmet for first place"

Verstappen is currently leading the drivers' championship, six points behind him is his Red Bull teammate Sergio Perez who is eager to close the gap.

The Miami Grand Prix is the first of three American races before the F1 goes back to Europe for the next few races.
