Red Bull Will Share Parts And Personnel With AlphaTauri With As Team Fails To Meet Targets
Red Bull has announced plans to provide even more support to their sister team, AlphaTauri, for the upcoming 2024 season. The new partnership will involve the sharing of parts from Red Bull's previous year's car to AlphaTauri's new design, with the aim of helping the Italian-based team improve their position on the grid.
As of now, Red Bull has been dominating the 2023 season, winning every single race, while AlphaTauri managed to secure a single point in Australia thanks to Yuki Tsunoda. However, this new level of collaboration between the two teams could help bridge the gap.

According to a report by The Race, there has been a reshuffle of the aerodynamics department within AlphaTauri, with some personnel leaving while others have joined the team. This move is seen as a way to enhance the team's technical capabilities, as they seek to take advantage of the parts-sharing agreement.
The technical director of AlphaTauri, Jody Egginton, recently admitted that the team had not met some of the targets set by team principal Franz Tost. However, he expressed confidence that they would be able to achieve their goals in due course. Egginton explained:
"The disappointment from Franz’s side as a team principal is that the car’s not established well enough into the midfield to be where we want.
"And he’s expressed that in a certain way. But at the end of the day, we’ve hit some of our targets – they were valid targets, they’re good targets – and we’ve not quite hit some of the others yet, but we will."
It is expected that the new partnership between Red Bull and AlphaTauri will help to raise the latter's game and enable them to compete more effectively in the highly competitive world of Formula 1. With the sharing of technical know-how and resources, AlphaTauri will be able to leverage the strengths of the Red Bull team, while also developing their own unique identity and approach to racing.
