Logan Cook, fresh off a second-place finish in the average at the Texas Circuit Finals, won the Heart O’Texas Rodeo in Saddle Bronc riding on Saturday to start the 2024 season off with a bang. 

Cook won the event with an 84-point ride on Pete Carr Pro Rodeo's Stockyards "Babe" for $3,102. The rider he finished behind at the Texas Circuit Finals, Sterling Crawley, came in second at Heart O’Texas with an 83.5-point ride, which netted him $2,378.

Cook won the first round at the Texas Circuit Finals earlier in the week. He’s an experienced rider who has finished in the Top 30 in Saddle Bronc winnings each of the past three seasons.

At the Austin Co. Fair and Rodeo in Bellville, Texas, Chris Williams took the Saddle Bronc title with an 81.5-ride on Mo Betta Rodeo's "Wally" and took home $1,929. Williams last claimed a title at the Dick Stull Memorial Rodeo in August. Will Pollock finished second with a 79-point ride.

At the Industry Hills Charity Pro Rodeo in Industry, Calif., Statler Wright won the title with an 85.5-point ride on Bridwell Pro Rodeos' Chuck Wagon and took home $2,865.

The Beaver, Utah, native won eight titles during the 2023 season and finished No. 19 in the world standings. Karson Mebane was second with an 84.5-point ride.

In Seguin, Texas, at the Guadalupe County Fair & PRCA Rodeo, Brandon Lansford claimed the title with an 86-point ride on Lancaster & Cude Pro Rodeo's "Pertnear" and brought home $1,641, just one day after wrapping up action at the Texas Circuit Finals. Parker Kempfer came in second with a 79-point ride.
