Austin Reaves' Team USA Shoes Could Be Dropping Soon

The Rigorer AR1 might be launching in a patriotic USA-themed colorway soon.

Hoops fans who have not watched any of the 2023 FIBA World Cup are missing out. Team USA has looked good, and Los Angeles Lakers guard Austin Reaves appears to be coming into his own this summer.

Reaves' exciting offseason began with news that he signed a seven-figure signature sneaker deal with the Chinese brand Rigorer and continued with a new contract with the Lakers. Within a few weeks, Reaves' first signature basketball shoe, the Rigorer AR1, was released in an exciting 'Ice Cream' colorway which left sneakerheads drooling.

Luckily for online shoppers in North America, KICKS CREW still has Reaves' sneakers in their debut colorway. Additionally, the up-and-coming sneaker platform dropped a hint at what could be next for Reaves' signature line.

Following Reaves' most recent dominant performance on the international stage, KICKS CREW teased the possibility of a new Rigorer AR1 colorway. Our guess is that it could be the red, white, and blue 'Team USA' colorway that Reaves has worn throughout the tournament.

The number of NBA players with signature sneaker lines is rapidly growing thanks to the sheer volume of performance apparel companies competing for the spotlight. However, Reaves has proven that he is more than deserving of his own shoe based on his play and the popularity of the Rigorer AR1.

We are in a new era of sneaker history, and disruptors like Reaves, Rigorer, and KICKS CREW are making it more exciting than ever. Stay locked into FanNation Kicks to learn more about what your favorite athletes wear on and off the floor.
