Caleb Williams Promotes Good Cause with Cleats
The 2022 NCAA Football season went by far too fast, and fans are already eager for next fall. The silver lining is college football fans get a slight taste of action throughout April with all the various spring games.
On Saturday afternoon, the USC Trojans took the field at Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum under a clear blue sky. All eyes were on reigning Heisman Trophy winner Caleb Williams, who was once again recognized for his historic achievement.
While Williams constantly grabbed headlines last year thanks to his fire pregame outfits and painted nails, it was his footwear that did the talking yesterday. Williams wore custom Nike cleats that promoted a good cause.
Williams' white cleats were painted cardinal and gold to promote his charitable foundation, Caleb Cares. The message on the right shoe read, "Stop Bullying," while the right shoe featured the organization's logo.

Despite his age, the 21-year-old quarterback has become an activist and outspoken leader on mental health issues. The Caleb Cares Foundation is dedicated to eliminating bullying, increasing mental health awareness, and empowering the underdog.
On the foundation's website, Williams explains, "I created Caleb Cares Foundation for those kids who are suffering because they don’t fit in. Fitting in means you’re not standing out. Greatness is formed in our differences. What makes you different today will propel you tomorrow."
There are plenty of reasons for excitement in Los Angeles, Williams is back, and the already stout coaching staff just got supercharged with the addition of Kliff Kingsbury. Even better for Trojans fans, they can always count on their star quarterback leading on and off the field.
