Dak Prescott & Deebo Samuel Show Off Air Jordan Cleats
Every Sunday in the fall is wildly entertaining, thanks to the NFL. Not only do football fans get inundated with highlights, but sneakerheads get treated to a steady stream of fire footwear on and off the field.
With all eyes on the Sunday night primetime matchup between the Dallas Cowboys and the San Francisco 49ers, everyone knew there would be some special cleats worn during the game. Luckily for us, the game featured two Jordan Brand athletes who represented Jumpman on the gridiron. We need our loyal readers to figure out which star player had the better cleats.
Air Jordan 1
San Francisco laid the hammer down on Dallas by a score of 42-10. Although he did not score any touchdowns, 49ers wide receiver Deebo Samuel made his presence felt. Samuel caught three receptions for 55 yards and carried the ball five times for 30 yards.
The dual-threat skill player did it all in a pair of Air Jordan cleats. More specifically, Samuel wore the Air Jordan 1 Low in an iconic 'Chicago' colorway. The Bulls-themed cleats take direct inspiration from the first signature sneaker worn by Michael Jordan almost 40 years ago.
Unfortunately for fans, that exact colorway is not available in the cleated version of the shoe online. However, there are several styles of the Air Jordan 1 Low in its original form available on the Nike website. This is good news because not too many of us are still playing football, but we still want to look fresh while cheering on our favorite teams.
Air Jordan 3
Sunday night was not the best showing for Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott. After a solid start to the season, the wheels came off in Santa Clara. Prescott only threw one touchdown, which was offset by his three interceptions during the game.
But there is no denying that Prescott brought his A-game with his footwear. Arguably the face of Jordan Brand in the NFL, Prescott debuted a blue and white player-exclusive colorway of the Air Jordan 3 cleats.
The Air Jordan 3 has never been released to the public in cleat form and only makes occasional appearances as a sneaker. The silver lining is that online shoppers can choose between plenty of Cowboys-themed footwear and apparel on the Nike website.
