James Harden Wears New Adidas Sneakers in Clippers Debut
There are not many places better to debut your latest signature sneakers than Madison Square Garden. That is exactly what James Harden did on Monday night when the new-look Los Angeles Clippers took on the New York Knicks.
Los Angeles lost 111-97, but Harden did provide 17 points and plenty for sneakerheads to discuss. As we expected after a cryptic social media post by adidas yesterday morning, Harden played in the adidas Harden Vol. 8. Below is what little we know about the unreleased basketball shoe at this time.
adidas Harden Vol. 8
Adidas has not yet announced a release date, pricing, or tech specs for Harden's eighth signature sneaker. However, more details of the adidas Harden Vol. 8 will be released in February 2024. Additionally, the price of previous models from Harden's signature line has slowly crept up from $130 to $160 over the past few years.
Harden began his NBA career with Nike before signing a 13-year, $200 million contract with adidas in 2015. Since that time, athletes and fans have come to rely on Harden's sneakers as reliable on the court and fashionable off the court.
