Kevin Durant Makes Suns Debut in New Nike KD 15 Colorway

Learn more about the Nike KD 15 shoes worn by Kevin Durant in his Phoenix Suns debut.

The last time Kevin Durant stepped on the court was on January 8. Since then, the 13x NBA All-Star was traded from the Brooklyn Nets to the Phoenix Suns to form a new super team out west.

On Wednesday night, Durant made his debut with the Suns in stunning fashion. Durant scored 23 points in 27 minutes to lead Phoenix to victory over the Charlotte Hornets.

Even better, Durant used his first game in purple and orange to wear a new pair of his newest signature shoes - the Nike KD 15. Below is everything fans must know about the hoop shoes.

Nike KD 15

Since its debut last spring, the Nike KD 15 has been a favorite among fans and athletes alike. The performance basketball shoes perform remarkably well on the court and are easy to wear outside of the gym.

During last night's game, Durant wore an unreleased colorway featuring a charcoal upper, light green side panels, and pink Swoosh logos. Based on the tongue and heel branding, the shoes appear to be part of Nike's Black History Month collection of player-exclusive shoes.

How to Buy

Durant's 15th signature shoe is available at and below the retail price on Nike's website. There are currently ten colorways of the Nike KD 15 available, and Nike is showing no signs of slowing down.

It is unlikely that the shoes Durant wore last night enjoy a general release. However, fans should be able to find a pair of Durant's shoes they like for less than the retail price online.
