Micah Parsons Gets Called Out For Wearing Different Jerseys
Much of the Dallas Cowboys' offseason discourse has centered around their challenge to re-sign star players while remaining under the salary cap. One of those players is linebacker Micah Parsons.
The 2x NFL Pro-Bowler appears unfazed as he has attended multiple NBA Playoff games. However, fans (and players) are calling Parsons out for his Fair-weather fandom.
The Pennsylvania native wore a Philadelphia 76ers jersey last week before wearing a Boston Celtics jersey to Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals last night. Even Celtics forward Jayson Tatum addressed the jersey issue with Parsons.
Parsons explained, "I was in Philly... I was with [Michael] Rubin. You know how Rubin gets." After a brief exchange with Tatum, Parsons exclaimed, "I'm about to go get a Celtics jersey!"
This may be an unpopular opinion, but we at FanNation Kicks stand with Parsons. There are a lot of really sharp jerseys out there, and no one should be limited to just one team.
In addition to getting his courtside outfit off, Parsons rocked a new pair of Nike sneakers. The well-documented sneakerhead wore the Nike Dunk Low in a newly-released colorway.
Nike Dunk Low
Parsons wore the Nike Dunk Low SE in the Sashiko Industrial Blue’ colorway. The shoes were released in March 2023 for 120. According to StockX, the shoes now have an average resale price of $139.
The colorway features a textile twill upper, consisting of a white base with blue overlays and a matching Swoosh logo. Sashiko-style stitching appears on the toe box and heel tab, while a woven Nike tag completes the throwback look.
Parsons is one of the more enjoyable players in the NFL to cover, thanks to his play style, personality, and impressive footwear. Hopefully, we get to see more of him in various jerseys throughout the rest of the NBA Playoffs.
