The winter hot stove has begun heating up this week, and baseball fans can expect plenty of more off-field action to come this month. However, roster transactions are not the only thing for fans to follow this winter. There is some serious heat being dropped in the sneaker industry.

The sports apparel giant New Balance and New York Mets shortstop Francisco Lindor are revealing a new colorway to his signature cleat and trainer. The New Balance Lindor 2 ‘Tropical Fiesta’ is launching today, Thursday, December 7. 

Online shoppers can purchase the cleats for $130 and the trainers for $110 in adult sizes. Additionally, two other colorways of both models are available at retail price on the New Balance website. Below is everything athletes and fans must know about the festive footwear.

Tropical Fiesta is meant to celebrate holiday festivities or "fiesta"!
