Earlier this week, New Balance unveiled the latest limited-edition boot for Arsenal and England superstar Bukayo Saka - the Furon v7 ‘Seven Edition’. While still in the early stages of an already stellar career, the number seven has held immense significance in Saka’s personal and professional life.

The soccer prodigy was just seven years old when he joined Arsenal’s prestigious academy and was handed his first team debut for the club at 17, wearing the #87 shirt.

Over the past few years, Saka has made the number his own, being awarded Arsenal’s #7 shirt to follow in the footsteps of a host of club legends before him. He continues to make huge strides on the international stage, having recently been crowned England Men's Player of the Year for a second successive year.

Staying true to Saka’s passions, the New Balance Furon v7 ‘Seven Edition’ arrived in a bright white colorway with red accents. The detailing includes the number seven, Arsenal’s iconic cannon, and references to his 'Little Chilli' nickname. The unique design of the boot combines with the lightweight and dynamic Furon v7.

Commenting on the launch, Bukayo said: "Wearing the number 7 shirt for my club was always something I dreamt about, and it has gone on to have real significance at various points throughout my career. Being able to now celebrate my journey so far in my own boot is incredibly special for me, and I can’t wait to step out on the pitch in the boots."

The performance soccer boot hit shelves on September 19 for $225 in adult sizes on the New Balance website. Stay locked into FanNationKicks.com for all your footwear news from the sports world.
