Patrick Mahomes Wears Signature Adidas Shoes to Chiefs Game

Patrick Mahomes debuted a new colorway of his signature adidas shoes to the Kansas City Chiefs game.
In this story:

Unlike a lot of players across every professional sport, Patrick Mahomes insists on playing in preseason games. The reigning NFL Super Bowl MVP logged one series in the Kansas City Chiefs first preseason game against the New Orleans Saints.

If we have learned anything about Mahomes over the course of his career, it's that he never misses any opportunities. The same can be said of his pregame outfit today. Mahomes rocked his signature adidas sneakers and a pair of his signature Oakley sunglasses.

It has been just over two years since adidas launched Mahomes' signature sneaker line, and the Chiefs QB1 wears the shoes every chance he gets. We have seen Mahomes rock several colorways, but he debuted an unreleased triple-red colorway of the adidas Mahomes 1 Impact FLX on Sunday.

The Mahomes 1 sets itself apart from most signature lines by focusing on training and performance rather than lifestyle appeal. However, Mahomes and the three stripes still managed to create a shoe versatile enough to be worn anywhere. Below is what athletes and fans must know about the signature model.

Over the past year, adidas has treated fans to several exciting colorways of Mahomes' first signature shoe. The Mahomes 1 has a retail price of $140 in adult sizes and $110 in children's sizes. However, the shoes have been marked down by as much as 30% in select styles on the adidas website.

Mahomes' dedication to preparation is what informs his signature line. The training shoe helps athletes put in the work with its sock-like design that molds to the foot. Additionally, the BOOST midsole returns energy with every step. Lastly, the nubs on the rubber outsole provide traction so athletes can cut on a dime.

The Mahomes 1 is two years old, but we are still not ready to say goodbye to the performance model yet. Apparently, neither is the shoe's namesake, as he continues to debut new colorways. Stay locked into FanNation Kicks to learn more about your favorite athlete's footwear.
