Stephen Curry's Retro Shoes Drop in New All-Star Colorway
Starting tomorrow, the entire basketball world sets its sights on Salt Lake City, Utah, for NBA All-Star Weekend. Players from opposing teams are friendly during the exhibition games and contests, but sneaker brands are more competitive than ever.
Curry Brand is celebrating Golden State Warriors point guard Stephen Curry's 9th All-Star Game selection by bringing back a fan-favorite basketball shoe in an exciting new colorway. For the first time ever, the Curry 2 FloTro 'All-Star' will be released globally on Friday, February 17th, on the Curry Brand website and at selected UA Brand Houses.
Curry 2 FloTro
The model was originally seen on Curry’s feet during 2016’s All-Star game in Toronto. However, the reimagined Curry 2 FloTro nods to Curry’s remarkable performance during the 2022 All-Star Game, where he scored 50 points and knocked down a record 16 of 27 attempted 3-point shots.
Additionally, the colorway includes easter eggs from Stephen’s life, including the Toronto area code where he lived while playing for the Queensway Christian College Saints from 2001-2002, and the word ‘W3ST,’ paying homage to his 2016 All-Star Game jersey.
Fans of the greatest three-pointer shooter of all time will have a shot at buying the Curry 2 FloTro 'All-Star' this Friday online and at select UA Brand Houses. Thanks to Curry and Curry Brand, sneakerheads everywhere can step up their game and play like an All-Star.
