The Nike KD 16 Debuts in Three Colorways

Phoenix Suns forward Kevin Durant's newest Nike sneakers appear in three colorways.

The 2023 NBA Playoffs tip off tomorrow, and players will not be the only ones competing. Sneaker companies want to steal the spotlight each night, and Nike just got a head start on the competition.

The Phoenix Suns and Los Angeles Clippers do not play until Sunday night. However, fans can already expect to see Suns forward Kevin Durant in his 16th signature basketball shoe.

Earlier this evening, Nick DePaula of ESPN tweeted a picture of three colorways of the Nike KD 16. Nike has not yet released any official images, pricing, tech specs, or release dates. However, Durant's newest shoes always release in the spring, so fans can expect the Nike KD 16 to officially launch soon.

The Nike KD 16 will feature a low-cut silhouette with a knit upper and ventilation on the lateral sides. Additionally, we can infer that the three colorways picture above (black/purple, red/white, and blue/pink) will eventually hit shelves.

While we at FanNation Kicks are excited for Durant's newest shoes to get here, we hate to see the Nike KD 15 go. The performance basketball shoe was loved by fans and athletes alike. Even better, sneakerheads were treated to several general relase colorways.

Luckily for online shoppers, the Nike KD 15 is available at a discount in multiple colorways on the Nike website. Now is the perfect time to purchase a pair of Durant's best hoop shoes to date at below the retail price. In the meantime, stay locked into FanNation Kicks for all your sneaker news.
