Spring is a great time of the year for basketball fans. In addition to being consumed by the NBA Playoffs, there are often major sneaker sales. Although the Milwaukee Bucks have been eliminated, their fans can easily purchase some of Giannis Antetokoumpo's shoes at a major discount.

Antetokoumpo has been a Nike athlete since entering the NBA, with his own signature line launching in 2019. Upon its debut, the Nike Zoom Freak line quickly became a favorite among hoopers and fans.

Fast forward four years and Antetokounmpo's signature line is already on its fourth installment. The Nike Zoom Freak 4 launched in September 2022 for $130. Fans can now purchase the shoes for as low as $72 (44% off) in select colorways on the Nike website.

The Nike Zoom Freak 4 is a work of art. Not only is the performance model versatile enough to wear casually, but it dominates the competition on the court. The forward-thinking design features much of Nike's latest technology.

The cushion is provided by two Zoom Air units positioned inside the lightweight midsole, which is hollowed out under the forefoot, allowing the Zoom Air units to compress and expand for maximum energy return. Also, the Zoom Air units are slightly tilted to propel you forward.

Court grip is provided by a computer-generated outsole with a multidirectional traction pattern resembling a topographical map. Meanwhile, an external piece of lightweight, durable foam is built into the outer-side midsole for added stability.

Some casual NBA fans might be sleeping on Antetokounmpo after Milwaukee's unexpected postseason loss. However, no one can afford to overlook his signature sneaker line. Something tells us Antetokounmpo will be back and better than ever next season, and Nike will ensure his shoes are ready to go.
