Among the many exciting perks of winning a championship is meeting the President of the United States. Since the Kansas City Chiefs won the 2022 NFL Super Bowl, they have enjoyed a long victory lap culminating in yesterday's visit to the White House.

The entire Chiefs organization put their best foot forward, especially when it came to their footwear. While most of the team wore dress shoes, tight end Travis Kelce stood out with a red suit, black shirt, and popular Nike sneakers.

Kelce is arguably the biggest sneakerhead in the NFL, so many fans expected him to go big with his choice of sneakers yesterday. Instead, the perennial Pro-Bowler kept it simple with a pair of Nike Dunk Low sneakers.

But not just any pair of Dunks; Kelce wore the 'Panda' colorway. The black and white shoes are ubiquitous in modern fashion, with Nike haven re-stocked the colorway countless times over the past two years.

The Nike Dunk Low made its name on the basketball courts during the 1980s. Since then, the model has fallen in and out of style as the years have passed. But there is no denying the old-school hoop shoe's staying power.

The 'Panda' colorway has been re-released multiple times this year for $110 in adult sizes. The shoes are currently sold out on Nike's website, but they have an average resale price of $173 on the sneaker resale website StockX.

Football fans still have roughly two months before the NFL preseason kicks off, which feels like an interminable wait. However, our patience will be rewarded when we get to see Kelce make highlights on and off the field with his footwear.
