On Thursday night, the Minnesota Timberwolves increased their lead in the Western Conference standings with a 118-103 win over the Memphis Grizzlies. Timberwolves guard Anthony Edwards showed out with 28 points in a new colorway of his first signature sneaker with adidas.
Fans got their first look at the adidas AE 1 in the 'Best of Adi' colorway. The unreleased colorway features a white TPU cage and outsole. The adidas AE 1 launched and sold out quickly online in December 2023. There is no word from adidas on when the 'Best of Adi' colorway will hit shelves, but this does feel like a future general release colorway.
The good news is that another Timberwolves-inspired colorway will be released soon. The blue and black adidas AE 1 'New Wave' is scheduled to drop on Thursday, January 25. Online shoppers will be able to purchase the hoop shoes for $120 in adult sizes on the adidas website.
