It has been a banner year for Luka Doncic, and the season is barely halfway over. On Friday night, Doncic made NBA history by scoring a career-high 73 points against the Atlanta Hawks (the team that drafted and traded him for Trae Young). Doncic is now tied as the fourth-highest scorer in a single game.

Last night's scoring outburst is just the latest accomplishment for the 24-year-old guard. Doncic signed a sneaker deal extension with Jordan Brand in August, became a father in December, and was selected for his 5th NBA All-Star Game earlier this week.

While Doncic consistently plays at a high level, he has apparently taken his game up a level this season. During his legendary performance, Doncic wore the Jordan Luka 2 in an unreleased colorway. Below is a detailed look at his sneakers and details on how fans can buy a pair of the historic hoop shoes.

Jordan Brand officially unveiled Doncic's second signature sneaker last June, and since then, they have released a steady stream of futuristic colorways. Last night, Doncic wore the Jordan Luka 2 in an unreleased colorway that sports a Light Volt upper contrasted by Fuscia detailing. Online shoppers can choose from multiple colorways of Doncic's sneakers in full-family sizing on the Nike website.

The Jordan Luka 2 was designed for crafty players like Doncic. The performance basketball shoe features a stacked Formula 23 foam midsole with firm yet flexible cushioning for added responsiveness. Meanwhile, a sturdy cage wraps around the entire upper for 360-degree connected support.

Of course, we would be remiss if we did not mention that Doncic's career night came on the fourth anniversary of Kobe Bryant's tragic passing. Doncic was one of the new generation of hoopers who grew up cheering for Bryant. Now, Doncic joins Bryant and other basketball legends in NBA and sneaker history.
