The Top 5 Sneakers of the 2023 WNBA All-Star Game

Adidas, Nike, PUMA, and Under Armour showed out at the 2023 WNBA All-Star Game.

Sports came roaring back this weekend with major events in multiple leagues. But no league put on a better show than the WNBA. The 2023 WNBA All-Star Game was held in Las Vegas, Nevada, and the women lit up Sin City.

In addition to hooping at a high level, all of the players competed to have the cleanest sneakers on the court. The importance of the moment was not lost on the brands, who supplied their athletes with a mix of new and retro sneakers. Below are the five most important sneaker moments of the 2023 WNBA All-Star Game.

Even the most casual sports fans could not have missed Sabrina Ionescu going off in the 3-Point Contest. The New York Liberty guard broke WNBA and NBA 3-point shooting contest records by hitting all but two of her attempts.

The timing could not have been better for Ionescu, as she rocked multiple colorways of her first signature Nike sneaker - the Nike Sabrina 1. Ionescu's debut sneaker is scheduled to launch on August 3, 2023.

Michael Jordan's legendary signature sneaker line is in good hands with this generation of hoopers. UCLA freshman guard Kiki Rice debuted the Air Jordan 38 during the NCAA Tournament, and Atlanta Dream shooting guard Rhyne Howard just put her stamp on it.

Howard wore the Air Jordan 38 in the 'Center Star' colorway. The orange hoop shoes pay homage to the WNBA with the league's logo on the tongue. The Air Jordan 38 is scheduled to launch on August 18 for $200 in adult sizes.

While most players went with new models, Kelsey Plum took the opposite direction. The Las Vegas Aces point guard wore the Under Armour Curry 1 in a player-exclusive orange and blue colorway.

Since Plum signed with Under Armour last November, the reigning champ has not missed with her selection of hoop shoes. While last night's colorway has not hit shelves, fans can shop Curry's retro sneakers on the Under Armour website.

The Indiana Fever forward showed love to Las Vegas Aces center Candace Parker with her footwear. Boston wore the adidas Exhibit Select in the 'Game Royalty' colorway. Adidas unveiled the shoes yesterday, and they are already a part of hoops history.
