There are many GOATs, but there is only one ACE. From McDonald’s All-American to two-time Olympic Gold Medalist, Candace Parker is truly the ACE hooper, teammate, mom, friend, mentor, broadcaster, and philanthropist.

Today Adidas Basketball announced the release of its Candace Parker Part III Collection. The global superstar's new collection is a continuation of the line’s court-worthy footwear and off-court apparel.

Ahead of Exhibit Select’s official release, adidas will roll out a limited-edition series of Candace Parker player-exclusive Exhibit Select styles during the 2023 WNBA season. The first player-exclusive colorway will debut on the court by Parker during WNBA All-Star Weekend and will be available for purchase on July 15th, 2023.

This release will mark the first time customers will be able to get their hands on the Exhibit Select and experience the new tech and feel. The Exhibit Select collection features three key colorways: “Game Royalty,” “Queen of the Cards,” and “Champagne.”

"I am thrilled to unveil my latest player exclusive with adidas Basketball as this new style epitomizes the perfect fusion of innovation, comfort, and style, empowering me to elevate my game to new heights,” says Parker. “My goal with adidas is to not only inspire athletes to push their limits on the court but also serves as a reminder of the importance of a strong support system.”

The “Champagne” colorway was inspired by the celebration after winning a championship, a feeling only a few have experienced, but Parker has experienced twice as a pro. Confidence is the first step to achievement. Champagne is the first step to a proper celebration toast.

“Game Royalty” was inspired by the African warrior queen Kandake of (Kush) present-day Ethiopia and the origin of the name Candace. Purple and gold symbolize royalty for African Queens.

As we move into the crowning moment of Parker’s career, we get more sophisticated with the purples that move through the shoe from the base up, symbolizing growth and ascension into her queen of the court status.

"Queen of the Cards"

With “Queen of the Cards,” adidas Basketball created a special Ace graphic featuring the letter “C,” which is printed on the upper and sock liner of the shoe. The three stripes in red signify the number 3 as a red thread in Parker’s career (3x WNBA all-star + NCAA, WNBA, & Olympic Gold; Trifecta).

“Candace Parker’s influence extends far beyond the court, as she uses her platform to advocate for equality and empower the next generation of WNBA athletes,” says Eric Wise, Global GM of adidas Basketball. “With the Candace Parker Collection III, we aim to capture her unparalleled greatness and bring it to life through original designs and the highest caliber of performance footwear.”
