Mason Greenwood has been pictured training for the first time since he was suspended by Manchester United in January 2022.

Greenwood was suspended by the club after being arrested.

He was later charged with attempted rape, engaging in controlling behavior, and assault, but all charges against him were dropped in February 2023.

Despite no longer facing any criminal charges, Greenwood is still the subject of a club investigation into his conduct.

Consequently, he has not trained alongside his teammates in almost 18 months.

But The Sun published photographs of Greenwood, 21, training with a private coach after hiring a pitch at a public sports center this week.

Greenwood's session is said to have lasted 90 minutes and saw him practice his close control and shooting skills.

The former England striker was not wearing Nike boots, after the brand ended its sponsorship deal with him earlier this year.

Greenwood's footballing future is currently unclear, although a loan move to a club in Italy or Spain may be one potential option this summer.

However, if United's review finds that Greenwood brought the club into disrepute, he could be released.

But for now, he still has two years remaining on his £75,000-a-week contract and is being paid in full.
