West Ham Reject Manchester City Bid For Declan Rice
West Ham United have rejected an offer from Manchester City for captain Declan Rice.
Hammers owner David Sullivan publicly admitted earlier this month that Rice would likely leave the club this summer.
But West Ham will not sell Rice, 24, cheaply and are said to have set a £100 million asking price.
According to BBC Sport, City's rejected bid included an initial payment of £80m plus a further £10m in add-ons.
City's offer was made after West Ham had already turned down two bids from Arsenal.
Arsenal's second offer was also reportedly worth £90m in total, but was made up of £75m up front plus £15m in add-ons.
The Gunners are expected to make a third bid for Rice.
England midfielder Rice has made 204 EPL appearances for West Ham, scoring 10 goals and assisting another 10.
He has been capped 43 times by England, having previously represented the Republic of Ireland in three friendly matches.
