Man City's Ilkay Gundogan Finesses Free-Kick To Score Brilliant Goal In Win Over Everton
Ilkay Gundogan scored a stunning free-kick during Manchester City's 3-0 win at Everton on Sunday.
The City midfielder finessed the ball into the top corner of Jordan Pickford's goal to complete the scoring in the 51st minute.
City had been spoilt for choice in terms of options to take the kick, after Phil Foden was fouled by James Garner.
Julian Alvarez eventually walked away, leaving only Gundogan and left-footer Riyad Mahrez stood over the ball.
Instead of opting for power, Gundogan then delicately placed a shot beyond the reach of Pickford to score his ninth club goal of the season.
Gundogan had earlier produced a brilliant two-touch finish to score City's opening goal in the first half, before assisting Erling Haaland for his team's second moments later.
City have now won 11 consecutive games in the Premier League.
Pep Guardiola's side now require just two more wins to guarantee a third consecutive title.
