Arlington Renegades Signing Free Agents, Building Roster for 2024
The Arlington Renegades continue to build on their roster for the upcoming 2024 season, signing several free agents, following Jan. 15 dispersal process.
With the signings the Renegades get close to locking in the 75 roster spots that will take part in training camp, which begins on Feb. 24, in Arlington, Texas.
Below is a look at those who were selected:
TE Austin Allen - Nebraska
- Signed by the New York Giants as an undrafted free agent in Apr. of 2022, and signed on to the practice squad.
- In Jan. 2023, Allen was signed to the Green Bay Packers practice squad.
LB Marquel Lee - Wake Forest
- Drafted by the Oakland Raiders in the fifth round (168th overall) of the 2017 NFL Draft and signed a four-year contract.
- In his rookie year, Lee was named starting middle linebacker to open the season. On Oct. 8, 2017, he recorded a season-high six combined tackles. He finished his rookie season with 25 combined tackles (18 solo) in 13 games and six starts.
- Played for the Raiders and Buffalo Bills in 2020.
- Resigned with the Bills on a one-year contract in 2022.
WR Isaiah Winstead - East Carolina
- Signed with San Francisco 49ers following the 2023 NFL Draft and remained on the practice squad until Dec. 7.
On Jan. 15, the Renegades took part in the league’s second round dispersal process, where they went five rounds. Below is a list of who they selected:
- B.J. Bello, LB, Illinois St, PHI
- Nasir Greer, CB, Wake Forest, ARL
- Calvin Jackson, WR, Washington State, SEA
- Juwan Manigo, WR, Delaware Valley, ARL
- Jared Scott, TE, Idaho State, NO
