Fantasy Football Week 6 Stat Projections: Wide Receiver Rankings

Colts rookie WR Alec Pierce climbs into the top 15 thanks to a great matchup against the Jaguars.

Welcome to this week's wide receiver rankings and projections. Here are some of my thoughts on some notable WRs from this Week 6 list.

Robbie Anderson, Carolina Panthers

Anderson missed practice on Friday with an illness, but he should play on Sunday.

Rashod Bateman, Baltimore Ravens

The Ravens ruled Bateman out against the Giants due to his lingering foot issue. I shifted some wide receiver chances to their tight ends while also giving Devin Duvernay and Demarcus Robinson a slight bump in catches and receiving yards.

Marvin Jones Jr., Jacksonville Jaguars

After his best game (7/104) of the season, Jones teased fantasy managers on the waiver wire this week. Unfortunately, a hamstring issue developed over the past couple of days, leading to him being downgraded to out. James Agnew moved up to WR3 status for the Jaguars.

Tee Higgins, Cincinnati Bengals

After playing only 10 snaps, Higgins appeared to be a risky start vs. the Saints. He turned in a limited practice on Friday while still holding his questionable tag. I left his projection the same, leaving him almost in a dead heat with Tyler Boyd in Week 6.

Michael Thomas, New Orleans Saints

The Saints ruled out Thomas with his toe issue, giving Marquez Callaway a second week to put his name on the fantasy map. Jarvis Landry won’t suit up either, while Chris Olave remains questionable.
