Week 2 Fantasy Football Rankings: Flex (RB/WR/TE)

Jaguars receiver Calvin Ridley will be a valuable option thanks to a favorable matchup against the Chiefs.

It’s time to start thinking about setting your Week 2 lineups, and we’re here to help with our initial fantasy player rankings! I’ve used a full-point PPR scoring system for these rankings, which you can use in coordination with the Week 2 edition of Start Em, Sit Em. At Sports Illustrated, we always have you completely covered!

Among the running backs, David Montgomery made a major move upward after a big performance in Week 1, plus a great matchup against the Seahawks. Tyler Allgeier also moved way up the rankings and is now a viable flex option or even a low RB2 in larger leagues. On the flip side, Cam Akers took a huge move down the ranks after losing a ton of snaps and touches to Kyren Williams in Week 1.

Several big-name wideouts, including Tee Higgins, Amari Cooper and Tyler Lockett had stinkers last week, but all remain fantasy starters this week. Calvin Ridley made a big push into the top 10, and both Puka Nacua and Kendrick Bourne are more interesting as potential flex starters after impressive opening weekends.

At tight end, Travis Kelce is still ranked (for now) but will be removed if he’s unable to play due to a hyperextended knee. Dallas Goedert didn’t score a point last week, but he remains in the top five. Younger players like Sam LaPorta and Luke Musgrave have moved up, and so have veterans like Zach Ertz and Hunter Henry.

Be sure to check back for updates … and good luck everyone!
