2023 RBC Heritage Final Payouts, Winnings, Prize Money: Matt Fitzpatrick Wins $3.6 Million

The Englishman won the designated event at Harbour Town for his first win since last year's U.S. Open.

There's really only one way to get the best players in the world to tee up one week after the Masters: offer a huge payday.

There was no rest for the weary in Hilton Head this week, as just days after the Masters an elite field trekked a few hours up the road to play in the RBC Heritage. Given the event's 2023 status as a "designated event" most top-tier players wouldn't be eligible to skip it. (Although that didn't stop Rory McIlroy from withdrawing and receiving the financial hit that came with it.)

The purse has been boosted to $20 million, up from $8 million in 2022. The first-place prize also jumped significantly, from $1.44 million to $3.6 million, which is slightly more than Jon Rahm earned last week in Augusta

Matt Fitzpatrick earned that winner's check and the tartan plaid jacket, taking the RBC Heritage for his first PGA Tour win since last year's U.S. Open. He defeated Jordan Spieth on the third playoff hole.

Here are the final payouts for the RBC Heritage.
