Piggott Mohawks edge Rector Cougars 51-50 in Arkansas high school basketball game

PIGGOTT HIGH SCHOOL - Piggott Guard Emma Hooten led all scorers with 30 points as the Mohawks beat Rector Cougars 51-50 in a game at PIGGOTT HIGH SCHOOL.

Hooten's points came on 7 field goals, 3 three pointers and 7 of 9 free throws during the game.

Carly Rodden added 16. Rector fell to 3-3 overall while Piggott improved their record to 3-1.

Rector's next game is scheduled to be played at Armorel High School on Monday Nov. 28 versus Armorel. Piggott will host Walnut Ridge on Thursday Dec. 1
