Canyon Comanches beat Hesperia Scorpions 56-47 in California high school basketball game

State Preview Classic - Canyon Guard Josh Goodall led all scorers with 26 points as the Comanches beat Hesperia Scorpions 56-47 in a game at State Preview Classic.

Goodall's points came on 8 field goals, 2 three pointers and 4 of 5 free throws during the game.

Jasiah Williams added 17. Hesperia fell to 16-8 overall while Canyon improved their record to 18-5.

Hesperia's next game is scheduled to be played at home on Wednesday Jan. 24 versus Burroughs. Canyon will travel to Villa Park HS on Tuesday Jan. 23 to play Villa Park.
