East Eagles defeat West Bears 27-10 in California high school football game
Martin Stadium - East High School Gardner Minshew accumulated 235 passing yards and threw for 3 touchdowns to lead East Eagles to a 27-10 win over West Bears on Monday night at Martin Stadium in a high school football game.
The Eagles also received major efforts from Mikey Turner who caught 8 passes for 97 yards and 2 touchdowns and James Williams who caught 5 passes for 46 yards.
West 's Justin Herbert threw for 101 yards and Evan Smith picked up 52 rushing yards.
The win helps East improve to 1-0 on the season while West falls to 0-1. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.
