East Eagles cruises by West Bears 38-3 in California high school football game
East - East High School Running back Hank Smith accumulated 244 rushing yards and scored 2 touchdowns to lead East Eagles to a 38-3 win over West Bears on Sunday night in a high school football game.
The Eagles also received helpful efforts from Quarterback Bert Hartson who completed 10 passes for 199 yards and 2 touchdowns and Wide receiver Gunnar Johnson who caught 8 passes for 162 yards and 1 touchdown.
West 's Quarterback Zach Hartson threw for 31 yards, Running back Timmy Smith picked up 212 rushing yards and Wide receiver John Johnson had 21 receiving yards.
The win helps East improve to 4-0 on the season while West falls to 0-4. Tonight’s game was the fourth matchup between the two teams. In the previous game Friday June 21, East came out in front, 38-3.
