Lincoln Hornets edges El Camino Wildcats 26-24 in California high school football game

Herb Meyer Stadium - Lincoln High School Wide receiver Ke'shun Ford picked up 148 receiving yards and scored 1 touchdown to lead Lincoln Hornets to a 26-24 win over El Camino Wildcats on Friday night in a high school football game.

The Hornets also received vital efforts from Quarterback Chris Davila who completed 6 passes for 129 yards and Slot Back Leviticus Tharpe who rushed 9 times for 59 yards and 1 touchdown.

El Camino's Nathan Musgrove threw for 33 yards and 1 touchdown, Zion Jackson picked up 259 rushing yards and 1 touchdown and Nathan Musgrove had 33 receiving yards and 2 touchdowns.

The win helps Lincoln improve to 2-0 on the season while El Camino falls to 1-1. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.

Lincoln will challenge the Eastlake Titans at home on Friday September 6 at 6:30pm. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.

El Camino will take on the La Costa Canyon Mavericks at home on Friday September 13 at 7:15pm. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.
