Servite edges Orange Lutheran 29-28

QB Tyler McMahon had 234 passing yards and threw for 1 touchdown to guide Servite to a 29-28 win over Orange Lutheran on Friday night at Orange Coast College.

The Friars also recieved impressive efforts from WR Delon Hurt who caught 6 passes for 84 yards and RB Malachi Rice who rushed 19 times for 82 yards and 2 touchdowns.

Orange Lutheran’s QB Ryan Hilinski threw for 199 yards and 1 touchdown, CB Noah Crandall picked up 71 rushing yards and S Kyle Ford had 83 receiving yards.

The win helps Servite improve to 6-2 on the season. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.

Servite travels to Bellflower, CA to face off against the St. John Bosco Braves on Friday October 27 at 7:00pm. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.

Orange Lutheran travels to Santa Ana, CA to take on the Mater Dei Monarchs on Friday October 27 at 7:00pm. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.
