Helix cruises by St. Augustine 35-7

St. Augustine High School - QB Carson Baker racked up 193 passing yards and threw for 2 touchdowns to guide Helix to a 35-7 win over St. Augustine on Friday night at St. Augustine High School.

The Highlanders also recieved crucial efforts from RB Elelyon Noa who rushed 13 times for 96 yards and 2 touchdowns and CB Isaac Taylor-Stuart who rushed 11 times for 64 yards and 1 touchdown.

St. Augustine's QB Ryan Thomas threw for 140 yards and 1 touchdown, RB Brendan Silvia picked up 59 rushing yards and QB JR Justice had 90 receiving yards and 1 touchdown.

The win helps Helix improve to 3-1 on the season while St. Augustine falls to 2-3. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.

Helix travels to Chula Vista, CA to face off against the Bonita Vista Barons on Friday September 29 at 7:00pm. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.

St. Augustine will face off against the Point Loma Pointers at home on Friday October 6 at 7:00pm. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.
