Pleasant Grove Eagles edge Christian Brothers Falcons 36-35 in California high school football game
Sheldon - Pleasant Grove High School quarterback Cole Davis picked up 169 passing yards and threw for 1 touchdown to help the Pleasant Grove Eagles to a 36-35 win over the Christian Brothers Falcons on Friday night at Sheldon in a high school football game.
The Eagles also received helpful efforts from linebacker Caden Bemis who rushed 14 times for 122 yards and 3 touchdowns and middle linebacker Maddox Ali who rushed 2 times for 7 yards.
Christian Brothers' William Littlejohn threw for 4 yards, Ezekiel Castex picked up 250 rushing yards and 3 touchdowns and Sammie Outlaw-Baldon had 4 receiving yards.
The win helps Pleasant Grove improve to 2-0 on the season while Christian Brothers falls to 1-1. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.
