St. John Bosco Braves cruises by Mater Dei Monarchs 28-0 in California high school football game
St. John Bosco HS - St. John Bosco High School running back Cameron Jones picked up 136 rushing yards and scored 1 touchdown to lead the St. John Bosco Braves to a 28-0 win over the Mater Dei Monarchs on Friday night at St. John Bosco HS in a high school football game.
The Braves also received helpful efforts from quarterback Caleb Sanchez who completed 10 passes for 112 yards and 1 touchdown and running back Chauncey Sylvester who rushed 13 times for 41 yards and 1 touchdown.
Mater Dei's quarterback Elijah Brown threw for 81 yards, running back Nathaniel Frazier picked up 48 rushing yards and wide receiver Marcus Harris had 67 receiving yards.
The win helps St. John Bosco improve to 7-1 on the season while Mater Dei falls to 7-1. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.
St. John Bosco travels to San Juan Capistrano, CA to take on the JSerra Catholic Lions on Friday October 20. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.
