East - East High School Quarterback Bert Hartson had 90 passing yards and threw for 2 touchdowns to lead East Eagles to a 21-14 win over West Bears on Sunday night in a high school football game.
The Eagles also received major efforts from Wide receiver Gunnar Johnson who caught 5 passes for 56 yards and 2 touchdowns and Tight end Benny Harper who caught 2 passes for 23 yards.
West's Wide receiver John Johnson threw for 14 yards and Quarterback Zach Hartson had 14 receiving yards.
The win helps East improve to 1-0 on the season while West falls to 0-1. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.
