Naples Golden Eagles crushes Lehigh Lightning 44-6 in Florida high school football game
Staver Field - Naples High School quarterback Stanley Bryant had 141 rushing yards and scored 1 touchdown to guide the Naples Golden Eagles to a 44-6 win over the Lehigh Lightning on Friday night at Staver Field in a high school football game.
The Golden Eagles also received impressive efforts from running back Kendrick Raphael who rushed 10 times for 81 yards and 2 touchdowns and running back Martavion Young who rushed 1 time for 63 yards and 1 touchdown.
Lehigh's quarterback Daryl Hodge threw for 116 yards and 1 touchdown, running back Richard Young picked up 91 rushing yards and wide receiver Aidan Gousby had 78 receiving yards and 1 touchdown.
The win helps Naples improve to 1-0 on the season while Lehigh falls to 0-1. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.
Naples will face off against the Gulf Coast Sharks at home on Friday August 27. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.
