Naples Golden Eagles cruises by Killian Cougars 56-6 in Florida high school football game
Staver Field - Naples High School running back Kendrick Raphael racked up 163 rushing yards and scored 3 touchdowns to guide the Naples Golden Eagles to a 56-6 win over the Killian Cougars on Friday night at Staver Field in a high school football game.
The Golden Eagles also received major efforts from quarterback Niko Boyce who rushed 9 times for 106 yards and 1 touchdown and running back Isaiah Augustave who rushed 4 times for 67 yards and 2 touchdowns.
Killian's quarterback Antonio Smith threw for 62 yards, athlete Jayden Brown picked up 5 rushing yards and wide receiver D’Ivonne Wright had 47 receiving yards and 1 touchdown.
The win helps Naples improve to 5-1 on the season while Killian falls to 1-4. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.
Naples will face off against the Barron Collier Cougars at home on Friday September 30. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.
