Naples - Naples High School running back Kendrick Raphael racked up 170 rushing yards and scored 2 touchdowns to help the Naples Golden Eagles to a 41-23 win over the Barron Collier Cougars on Friday night in a high school football game.

The Golden Eagles also received major efforts from running back Isaiah Augustave who rushed 7 times for 86 yards and 2 touchdowns and quarterback Niko Boyce who completed 2 passes for 56 yards.

Barron Collier's quarterback Thomas Mooncotch threw for 279 yards and 2 touchdowns, running back Bryan Daniels picked up 25 rushing yards and p jiminez had 99 receiving yards and 1 touchdown.

The win helps Naples improve to 6-1 on the season while Barron Collier falls to 2-2. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.

Naples will challenge the Lely Trojans at home on Friday October 14. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.
