American Heritage Patriots defeat Naples Golden Eagles 35-17 in Florida high school football game

Staver Field, Naples, Fla. - American Heritage High School quarterback Blake Murphy picked up 160 passing yards to guide the American Heritage Patriots to a 35-17 win over the Naples Golden Eagles on Friday night at Staver Field, Naples, Fla. in a high school football game.

The Patriots also received helpful efforts from running back Mark Fletcher who rushed 30 times for 178 yards and 2 touchdowns and running back Byron Louis who rushed 8 times for 19 yards and 2 touchdowns.

Naples' Niko Boyce threw for 8 yards, isiah Augustave picked up 149 rushing yards and 1 touchdown and Kendrick Raphael had 8 receiving yards.

The win helps American Heritage improve to 8-1 on the season while Naples falls to 6-2. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.

American Heritage will take on the Hallandale Chargers at home on Friday October 28. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.

Naples travels to Estero, FL to challenge the Bonita Springs Bullsharks on Friday October 28. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.
