American Heritage Patriots defeat Naples Golden Eagles 35-17 in Florida high school football game
Staver Field, Naples, Fla. - American Heritage High School quarterback Blake Murphy picked up 160 passing yards to guide the American Heritage Patriots to a 35-17 win over the Naples Golden Eagles on Friday night at Staver Field, Naples, Fla. in a high school football game.
The Patriots also received helpful efforts from running back Mark Fletcher who rushed 30 times for 178 yards and 2 touchdowns and running back Byron Louis who rushed 8 times for 19 yards and 2 touchdowns.
Naples' Niko Boyce threw for 8 yards, isiah Augustave picked up 149 rushing yards and 1 touchdown and Kendrick Raphael had 8 receiving yards.
The win helps American Heritage improve to 8-1 on the season while Naples falls to 6-2. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.
