Naples Golden Eagles crushes Port Charlotte Pirates 35-3 in Florida high school football game

Naples - Naples High School running back Kendrick Raphael racked up 125 rushing yards and scored 2 touchdowns to lead the Naples Golden Eagles to a 35-3 win over the Port Charlotte Pirates on Friday night in a high school football game.

The Golden Eagles also received impressive efforts from Shawn Simeon who rushed 9 times for 46 yards and 1 touchdown and quarterback Niko Boyce who completed 1 pass for 32 yards and 1 touchdown.

Port Charlotte's quarterback Bryce Eaton threw for 136 yards, running back Edd Guerrier picked up 15 rushing yards and wide receiver Juluis Roach had 62 receiving yards.

The win helps Naples improve to 9-2 on the season while Port Charlotte falls to 7-3. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.
