Naples Golden Eagles beat Immokalee Indians 33-17 in Florida high school football game

Immokalee - Naples High School quarterback Jack Melton picked up 86 passing yards to guide the Naples Golden Eagles to a 33-17 win over the Immokalee Indians on Friday night in a high school football game.

The Golden Eagles also received impressive efforts from running back Shawn Simeon who rushed 12 times for 82 yards and 1 touchdown and running back Jamar Jerome who rushed 13 times for 55 yards and 1 touchdown.

Immokalee's Trannon Villareal threw for 53 yards and 1 touchdown, Justin Compere picked up 63 rushing yards and Chandron Pierre had 55 receiving yards and 1 touchdown.

The win helps Naples improve to 2-0 on the season while Immokalee falls to 0-2. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.

Naples will take on the Golden Gate Titans at home on Thursday September 14. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.
