Barron Collier Cougars beat Lely Trojans 47-29 in Florida high school football game

Lely - Barron Collier High School quarterback Niko Boyce accumulated 179 passing yards and threw for 1 touchdown to guide the Barron Collier Cougars to a 47-29 win over the Lely Trojans on Friday night in a high school football game.

The Cougars also received crucial efforts from fullback Braden Johnson who rushed 14 times for 84 yards and 2 touchdowns and running back Juan Acuna who rushed 18 times for 73 yards and 1 touchdown.

Lely's quarterback Colin Raymond threw for 168 yards and 3 touchdowns, running back Ninaud Joseph picked up 170 rushing yards and wide receiver Gage Rice had 62 receiving yards and 2 touchdowns.

The win helps Barron Collier improve to 7-2 on the season while Lely falls to 4-4. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.
