Barron Collier Cougars defeat Gulf Coast Sharks 28-21 in Florida high school football game
Gulf Coast - Barron Collier High School quarterback Niko Boyce accumulated 302 passing yards and threw for 2 touchdowns to help the Barron Collier Cougars to a 28-21 win over the Gulf Coast Sharks on Friday night in a high school football game.
The Cougars also received crucial efforts from running back Jackson Polly who rushed 8 times for 37 yards and middle linebacker Redon Sala who rushed 1 time for 23 yards.
Gulf Coast's quarterback Jayce Seyler threw for 150 yards and 2 touchdowns and defensive back Cayden Daugherty had 104 receiving yards and 2 touchdowns.
The win helps Barron Collier improve to 9-2 on the season while Gulf Coast falls to 5-4. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.
